The Hague or online.
You have already done a lot of self-reflection. Read books, had conversations, maybe therapy or coaching. You have a reasonable picture of who you are. And still you notice that in crucial moments you repeat the same patterns.
That is not because you are slow to learn. That is because consciousness is more than understanding.
You are looking for someone who works with you on seeing more deeply what you keep alive yourself without noticing. Not as accusation or analysis, but as room to catch patterns in the act, without judgement but with clarity.
Awareness is a word that floats around without it always being clear what it means. For me consciousness is the ability to observe what is in the moment.
You know your triggers, you know your reactions. And still it overcomes you at the moment it happens. Afterwards you understand, but that does not help next time.
Much of your day follows habit. What you eat, how you work, how you react to your partner. Not everything has to be conscious, but if nothing is conscious anymore, life lives you.
A discomfort or undercurrent that does not match how it looks from the outside. Consciousness work is learning where it comes from and what it says.
Consciousness coaching with me is not new age or mystical work. It is coaching with grounding, a no-nonsense mentality and a focus on conscious observation. It sets you in motion.
We work on the ability to see in the moment, not only to understand afterwards. That asks for attention and willingness to see what is.
Sessions last 1.5 to 2 hours. Consciousness does not develop in fifteen minutes. Everything is welcome. Without judgement, with full attention.
What you say here stays here. Consciously seeing what you would rather not see asks for trust. That is here.
Sessions take place on location in The Hague (indoor or outdoor), online, or a combination.
What consciousness work brings is rarely spectacular. It is a slow but lasting expansion of what you are able to see about yourself and your life.
Patterns you used to see only afterwards, you start noticing in the moment. That gives a choice where there was none before.
You notice you have a thought or feeling without being completely in it. As a result it steers you less.
You learn to take responsibility for parts of yourself where there used to be judgement or which were not allowed to be seen.
Parts of yourself you had pushed away get a place. Not as heavy confrontation, but as gradually waking up.
You do more with attention. Not everything, not always, but the moments that matter. And that brings playfulness, lightness and joy.
Consciousness coaching is a term with multiple layers. In some streams it has a strong spiritual connotation (consciousness as cosmic dimension). In others it is more psychological (aware of your thoughts and patterns). My take is grounded and clear, for everyone, regardless of your spiritual perspectives.
This is not new age or spiritual-cosmic coaching, but we paradoxically work with various spiritual philosophies and Eastern wisdoms. We apply this in an integral approach combined with Western psychology and systemic work. A deepening combination.
Nor is this psychotherapy. For those who need deeper trauma work or therapy for specific complaints, there are specialised practitioners. Consciousness coaching works on development, not on treatment.
What you get here is working with consciousness as a practical ability. We explore what you keep alive without seeing it. How you constantly patch up your self-image. Which thoughts you take as true without checking. Which automatic reactions you have and what sits in them.
I work with three pillars. Psychology, to recognise patterns that have shaped you. Systemic work, to see which unconscious loyalties are at play. And an integral, experience-based approach, because consciousness is not only knowledge but mainly experience.
I work with people who feel they largely understand themselves and yet want to see more deeply what they keep alive. My approach combines Western psychology, systemic work and Eastern wisdom. No fixed step-by-step plan, no quick fix. But room to see more deeply what is actually going on and to move from there with more clarity. I work on location in The Hague. Sessions live indoor or outdoor, online or in combination.
Each package starts with a no-obligation introduction. We discuss your situation and look together at which package suits you. The sessions after that last 1.5 to 2 hours, so we can stand still with you with all the room and attention, without rush or pressure.
A compass for those who want to take a first step. In three sessions we look at what is going on, you recognise your patterns, beliefs and stories and you get fresh insights to take into your work straight away.
For those who want to go to the core. In six sessions we create room for essential change. You explore who you are beyond your patterns, beliefs and stories, and learn to live and work from there.
For specific questions such as (impending) burnout, grief, major life changes or reintegration. A package fully tuned to what you need.

After a completed package you can always come back for a single session of 1.5 to 2 hours. For a check-in, deepening, or when something new shows up on your path.
Many employers reimburse coaching through the training budget, so it is worth asking. Are the costs a barrier for you? Let me know. There is sometimes room.
An introduction lasts an hour and is non-binding. We look at whether there is a click and whether my approach fits your question.
